『カムイの剣』は、1868年の徳川将軍時代の崩壊と、明治天皇下での日本の復興という変革期を舞台にした、一種の侍/忍者物語だ。

『カムイの剣(けん)』は、1868年(ねん)の徳川(とくがわ)将軍(しょうぐん)時代(じだい)の崩壊(ほうかい)と、明治天皇下(めいじてんのうか)での日本(にっぽん)の復興(ふっこう)という変革期(へんかくき)を舞台(ぶたい)にした、一種(いっしゅ)の侍(さむらい)/忍者(にんじゃ)物語(ものがたり)だ。
Kamui no Ken was a sort of samurai/ninja story set during the transition of the fall of the Tokugawa Shogunate and the re-establishment of Japan under the Emperor Meiji in 1868.
